Down the Memory Lane...

Last night I was clearing up my cupboard when I came across a box. A box that had my childhood safe within it. I call it my 'Memory Box'.

As soon as I opened it, there came a pleasant smell that took me back to my childhood days.

I could see everything clearly....a drawer full of hair bands, clips and ribbons of every possible color one could imagine, Slam books filled with messages from my friends and classmates, Encyclopedias - lots of them (can't imagine I had such a liking to them back then!), coloring books - some filled others left incomplete, beautiful pencils in different colors and kinds, cartoon erasers, barbie dolls whose hair were neatly combed and tied, my school magazines from every year that i studied in, art and craft books filled with creativity of my past, sketch pads with doodles and drawings that ran wild in my imagination, cassettes of my favorite songs, some unforgettable pictures of me and my friends at school, a Best Drummer Trophy awarded by my school  (that was an achievement!), Wool and knitting needles from when I started learning knitting, small sweaters and scarves that  I knit for my dolls, a diary which I wrote whenever I felt lonely and sad. Several notepads with solved maths problems, several notes filled with nonsense information and in the most dumbest handwriting I could ever imagine (my teachers were actually right about it back then!) and so many more things that made me laugh, that made me smile, that reminded me of that girl who lived the most amazing childhood of her dreams. It reminded me of a long lost 'ME'

Trust me, I had a smile on my face that night and dreams of my childhood engulfed me in my sleep...
